Abstract

Bright luminescence is observed for the perovskite KMgH₃:Eu²⁺ and a wide red shift in the emission energies of Eu(ii) in NaMgH₃. In LiBa_xSr_1−xH₃:Eu²⁺ the emission energy depends on the value of x.
