Abstract

A general and facile approach was developed to synthesize a family of silylated organometals, which were used as homogeneous (chiral) catalysts in THF-, CH₂Cl₂-, or toluene-medium organic reactions and could be completely recycled by adding pentane and then used repeatedly many times without a significant decrease in catalytic efficiencies.
