Abstract
A bi-component supramolecular gel (RQ) was successfully constructed by the assembly of the gelators R and Q. The obtained the RQ exhibits excellent self-healing property. Interestingly, the RQ has been successfully applied in selective fluorescent detection and removal of Hg2+ in water.
