Abstract

The first palladium-catalyzed intramolecular enantioselective C(sp3)–H insertion of donor–donor carbenes has been achieved. The diazo compounds afford rare trans-indolines with excellent enantioselectivities, while enynones deliver cis-indolines exclusively.
