Abstract
The substitution series of environmentally benign blue pigments with the formula Sr2Mg1−xMnxGe2−ySiyO7+δ (0 ≤ x ≤ 1; 0 ≤ y ≤ 2) show intensive blue colors, which makes them promising alternatives to popular blue pigments.
