Abstract

Synthesis, structure, magnetic anisotropy and slow magnetic relaxation of two air-stable Co(iii)–Co(ii) mixed-valence complexes with a five-coordinated Co(ii) centre were studied by single-crystal X-ray crystallography, magnetometry and HFEPR.
