Abstract

A novel ternary composite consisting of cobalt oxide (Co₃O₄) nanoparticles (NPs) grown on multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) and mixed with gold (Au) NPs is synthesized by a single step hydrothermal route.
