Abstract

Ascribed to the presence of sulphur atoms, l-Met is a biomaterial based wide bandgap (2.88 eV) p-type semiconductor. The piezoelectric voltage constant of l-Leu is more than one order of magnitude higher than that of lead zirconate titanate (PZT).
