Fabricating liquid crystal vitrimer actuators far below the normal processing temperature

Abstract

We find that some liquid crystal vitrimers can be fabricated into actuators at a temperature below the topology freezing transition temperature (Tv) even though it is widely regarded that such fabrications should always be carried out well above theTv.
