Abstract

A heterogeneous Fe doped BaTiO3 efficient nanocatalyst for the catalytic reduction of nitrobenzene (NB) to synthesize azoxybenzene (AOB) in the presence of 2-propanol and molecular H2 has been investigated. This method offers 100% NB conversion with 93–95% AOB yield.
