Abstract

The presence of the osmolyte mannosylglycerate in alive cells ofThermococcus barophilus, a hyperthermophile and piezophile, limits the structural rearrangements of its proteome under the archaeon optimal growth conditions,i.e.358 K and 40 MPa.
