Abstract

Europium got stabilized as Eu2+ and Eu3+ and Samarium got stabilized as Sm3+ in stillwellite SrBPO5. The interstitial uranium co-doping caused energy transfer to Eu3+ and Sm3+ and influenced the ratio of the Eu3+ and Eu2+ ions.
