Abstract

A facile and practical approach for the synthesis of ultrathin MoO_3−x nanosheets is developed. The enhanced photocatalytic activity of MoO_3−x nanosheets can be attributed to the nanosheet morphology and high concentration of Mo⁵⁺ defect.
