Abstract

An inter-particle reaction between atomically precise [Au44(SR)26]2− (SR = thiolate) and [Ag44(SR)30]4− nanoparticles reveals the composition-dependent structural evolution of alloy AuxAg44−x nanoparticles at the atomic level.
