Abstract
Novel nitrogen-doped carbon nanodots (NCdots) were successfully synthesized by a hydrothermal method using 1-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)-3-ethylcarbodiimide hydrochloride (EDC) as a carbon–nitrogen source.
