Abstract

Trifunctional catalysts based on polyoxometalate (POM) and surfactant modified MgAl-layered double hydroxide (LDH) were synthesized and evaluated for aerobic oxidation of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural (5-HMF) and mono-saccharides.
