Abstract

An optimized octapeptide (errKPAQP), exhibits nanomolar affinity to influenza neuraminidase, can notably inhibit neuraminidase activity, and protect mice from influenza infection in vivo, indicating that errKPAQP is a promising anti-influenza drug.
