Abstract

Nanooptomechanical transduction in single crystals of [Ru(SO2)(NH3)4(H2O)]chlorobenzenesulfonate2 reaches maximal levels within 40 s at 100 K. This rapid build up of single-crystal optical actuation may be useful in solid-state optical devices.
