Abstract

CO, NO, NO2, O2 and NH3 chemisorb on Pt-doped arsenene with larger charge transfers and higher adsorption energies than those on pristine arsenene, implying Pt-doped arsenene displays superior gas sensing performance compared to pristine arsenene.
