Abstract

K@ScCl3 exhibits out-of-plane ferroelectric and ferromagnetic properties. Its 2D polarization is ∼4.65 pC m−1 with a transition barrier of 57 meV per f.u. Monte Carlo simulations suggest a Curie temperature of ∼37 K.
