Abstract

A dinuclear complex Dy₂L₂(depma2)Cl₂ containing a pre-photodimerized dianthracene phosphonate ligand (depma2) undergoes consecutive two-step structural transformation upon heating depma2, accompanied by a synergetic switching of the photoluminescence and magnetic dynamics.
