Abstract
Four porous Tb-MOFs based on 2-nitroterephthalate are described, in whose pores water (1) or co-ligands (2–4) exist in the pores as templates. The emissions could be related to the characteristic peaks of Tb(iii) ions, and their intensities are affected and adjusted by templates.
