Abstract
BaGa2SiS6:Eu2+ (a) emits a green light upon excitation at 405 nm, whereas Ba2Ga8SiS16:xEu2+ (b) can be tuned to emit cyan to green with increasing Eu2+ content when excited at 365 nm.
