Abstract

Core–shell structured LiMn_0.5Fe_0.5PO₄@C was achievedvia in situresorcinol–formaldehyde polymerization followed by graphitization. A 3 nm carbon coating produced the best battery performance. The carbon shell can inhibit the metal dissolution and reduce the heat released during cycling.
