Unexpected electronic perturbation effects of simple PEG environments on the optical properties of small cadmium chalcogenide clusters

Abstract
Substantial electronic perturbation effects of simple PEG units were observed when sufficiently long PEG chains affording a polar environment were placed near the inorganic core of Cd10Se4(SR)12.
