Abstract

Multifunctional core/shell Gd₂O₃@mSiO₂/ZGOCB nanoparticles have been prepared. The drug storage/release, magnetic and long afterglow luminescence properties make it to be a promising candidate as a potential platform for therapeutics and diagnostics of reactive species in living cells or in vivo.
