Abstract

By introducing NH4+, hydrogen-bond-modulated MnO2 nanoflowers inhibit the stretching of the [MnO6] octahedra along the z axis, reduce the occurrence of Jahn–Teller distortion, and achieve long-lifespan aqueous Zn//MnO2 batteries.
