Abstract

Under the guidance of the ESI-MS result for [TeO6@Ag36(CCtBu)18(tfa)12] (1, tfa = trifluoroacetate), a new 36-nucleus silver-alkynyl cluster substituted by four pentafluorobenzoates, named as [TeO6@Ag36(CCtBu)18(tfa)8(F5PhCO2)4] (2), has been fabricated.
