Abstract

CaCO3 carriers are efficiently loaded with Griseofulvin antifungal drug (25% w/w). Stabilizing coating formation prolongs the carrier degradation and payload release. The proposed system enables delivery to hair follicles and bioavailability enhancement for Gf.
