Abstract

A metal–ligand cooperation (MLC) behavior was investigated using Iron and cobalt complexes bearing a phenanthroline-based meridional PNNP ligand, demonstrating a unique long-range MLC, where the phenanthroline backbone behaves as a H₂ reservoir.
