Nuciferine improves high-fat diet-induced obesity via reducing intestinal permeability by increasing autophagy and remodeling the gut microbiota

Abstract
This study provides evidence that nuciferine exerts anti-obesity effects in mice fed a high fat diet by reducing the intestinal permeability via the enhancement of autophagy and by increasing the relative abundance of Akkermansia.
