Abstract

Planar chiral indene-fused ferrocenes were prepared, followed by ferrocenyl phosphines bearing planar and central chiralities. The potential application of these chiral ferrocenyl phosphine ligands is shown using a Pd-catalyzed enantioselective allylic alkylation reaction.
