Abstract

The new chiral amino acid-templated polar tin fluoride crystals, (R)-[C8H10NO3]Sn(ii)F3 and (S)-[C8H10NO3]Sn(ii)F3, reveal enhanced second-harmonic generation, photoluminescence, and birefringence.
