Abstract

Superhydrophilic multilayered polyelectrolyte–calcium silicate hydrate membranes (PEI/PSS)_2.0(PEI/PSS–CSH)n on a polyacrylonitrile substrate were prepared. Their surface structure, rejection of dyes, high flux, and self-cleaning and antifouling properties were investigated.
