One-pot reductive amination of carbonyl compounds and nitro compounds via Ir-catalyzed transfer hydrogenation

Abstract

A new procedure of iridium-catalyzed reductive amination of carbonyl compounds with nitro compounds was developed, in which reduction of nitros was realized in situ with B2(OH)4 firstly, followed by reductive amination to afford amine products.
