Abstract

Opposite contributions of graphene oxide are obtained in TiO₂ nanorod array photoanodes, in electrolytes of varying pH, for the water splitting application. The photocurrent of TiO₂ photoanode is improved, after graphene oxide coating, in a neutral pH electrolyte, while it decreases in a basic electrolyte.
