Abstract

A family of ionic liquids based on the cyano (1H-1,2,3-triazole-1-yl) dihydroborate anion was developed, which showed hypergolic reactivity with white fuming nitric acid. Furthermore, these ionic liquids can be ignited upon contact with 90 wt% H₂O₂ in the presence of iodine.
