Abstract

A porous CeO2 catalyst produced via a simple and low temperature approach achieves a high dimethyl carbonate formation rate of 14.8 mmol g−1 h−1 at 5.0 MPa and 140 °C due to the superimposition of a number of properties of the catalyst.
