Abstract
LaF3:Ln mesoporous spheres with tunable structures were prepared via an ion-exchange route using yolk-like La(OH)3 mesoporous spheres as templates. A rapid DOX release and an obvious thermal effect have been achieved by doping Nd3+ ions under 980 nm NIR irradiation.
