Abstract

A QM-derived SS-PFF is applied to evaluate the external reorganization of ET and HT processes. The explicit λ_ext can explain why acenes have large HT rates while perfluorinated acenes have better ET rates. Tuning molecular electrophiles is a way to adjust ET and HT rates.
