Abstract

H₂O₂-dependent epoxidation of unfunctionalized styrenes is achieved with high (R)-enantioselectivity and moderate to excellent TONs by combining site-mutated variants of cytochrome P450BM3 monooxygenase and a dual-functional small molecule (DFSM).
