Abstract

The use of a [bmim][BF4]/nBu-TMG solvent/catalyst mixture was shown to facilitate the recycling of solvents, catalysts and unreacted N-heterocycles (used in excess) in the aza-Michael reaction of various N-heterocycles with a steroidal substrate.
