Abstract

Highly selective ammonia generation was achieved using a Ni₂P catalyst through the electrochemical reduction of NaNO₂. Hydrogen atoms in situ generated on the surface of Ni₂P by electrochemical pretreatment greatly promoted the reaction rate.
