Abstract

A new plasmonic Ag-functionalized CuWO₄/WO₃ hetero-structured photoanode was successfully prepared via a PVP-assisted sol–gel (PSG) route and electrophoretic deposition which reveals 4 times enhanced photocurrent density compared with pristine WO₃.
