Abstract

Linear triplatinum complexes [Pt₃(μ-tdpmp)₂(RNC)₂](PF₆)₂ (R = 2,6-xylyl (3), ^tBu (4)), were synthesized by using a branched tetraphosphine, tdmpm, and show a novel dynamic behaviour in the solution state.
