Abstract

NMR-spectroscopic, structural and theoretical data of cyclic alkyl(amino)iminate (CAAI)-stabilised boranes synthesised by halosilane elimination from CAAI–SiMe3and haloborane precursors highlight the excellent σ- and π-electron donor ability of CAAIs.
