Insertion, protonolysis and photolysis reactivity of a thorium monoalkyl amidinate complex

Abstract
A tris-amidinate thorium monoalkyl complex facilitates new small molecule reactivity and eliminates SiMe4 under photolytic conditions to generate a mixed amidinate dimer.
