Abstract

A new family of chiral anions {Cu22Ln4} (La, Ce, Pr, Nd and Sm) with aesthetically beautiful wheel structures was obtained. It was found that these compounds, {Cu22Sm4} in particular, exhibit remarkable optical-limiting properties.
