Abstract

Luminous Eu(iii) complex-functionalized Fe₃O₄ nanoparticles encapsulated into zeolitic imidazolate framework materials (nano-ZIF-8) were prepared and employed as a fluorescent probe for detecting ClO⁻ and SCN⁻ with good selectivity and high sensitivity in ultra-pure water.
