Abstract

Driven by different weak non-covalent interactions [Au22-C6H4PMe2)2] and its aryl-perfluorinated analogue aggregate vastly differently in the solid state: the non-fluorinated prefers aurophilic interactions, the fluorinated aryl–aryl interactions.
